    Project Help

    This voluntary program, administered by the Clarksville-Montgomery Co. Community Action Agency allows customers to add $1 dollar or more to their monthly bill to assist the elderly, handicapped and those in economic crisis with their energy costs. If you are not participating and would like to do so, click here to enroll.

    Electric EXPO

    Every October CDE celebrates the benefits of public power with its Electric EXPO. CDE customers are invited to come learn about their electric utility and experience many exciting energy exhibits and activities.

    Partners In Education

    CDE is proud to be a system wide “Partner in Education” with the Clarksville-Montgomery Co. School System. Every year CDE distributes report card covers for K through 5th graders and makes electrical safety presentations for K through 12th graders.

    4-H Electric Camp

    CDE provides sponsorship for 6th and 7th grade students involved in 4-H for a four-day camp held at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. The camp includes hands-on learning centers, safety demonstrations, trips to steam plants and hydroelectric dams, a tour of the UT-Knoxville campus, computer centers, swimming and other camp-related activities. Participants typically build one or more projects such as an extension cord or lamp to take home.

    Volunteerism

    CDE is actively involved in the Clarksville community. Every year employees donate thousands of man-hours to help make Clarksville a better place to live.

    • Participating in the United Way "Days of Caring"
    • Hosting blood drives to support the American Red Cross
    • Collecting toys for the Clarksville Firefighters annual Toy Drive
    • Ringing the bell for the Salvation Army
    • Raising money for the American Heart Association
