April 17, 2007 - CDE Honored With National Award For Reliable Electric Operations
Th Clarksville Department of Electricity (CDE) is one of 48 of the nation’s more than 2,000 public power utilities to earn Reliable Public Power ProviderTM (RP3) recognition from the American Public Power Association (APPA) for providing consumers with the highest degree of reliable and safe electric service.
November 8, 2006 - CDE To Offer Additional Services
The Clarksville Department of Electricity is now in the position to offer cable television service and high speed internet access to its electric customers.
October 17, 2006 - CDE EXPO Electrifies Again
The Clarksville Department of Electricity celebrated Public Power Week with its annual Electric EXPO, on Saturday Oct. 7 at the CDE office. Approximately 1,500 people were treated to lunch and many exciting activities that included pole climbing demonstrations, a high voltage safety demonstration, energy saving exhibits, and an electric safety booth for kids.
October 9, 2006 - 9 Years Is No Accident
The Clarksville Department of Electricity employees set a new record in safety September 19th. The utility workers completed their ninth year without any lost work time due to an accident.
